Welcome to Sycamore Hill Arabians. We are Rick and Gail Sievers. Our business started because of our daughter's love of horses. We were drawn to their beauty, sensitivity, grace and loyalty. We started with one little chestnut double Bask granddaughter....and now have twelve horses on the property. Rick and I ride as much as we can, enjoying the peacefulness of the farm.
History
Our first experience with breeding was with our line-bred Raffles mare to a beautiful Andalusian stallion. The foal is so beautiful and personable and will be my future endurance horse.
This experience of choosing the correct stallion for a particular mare is so rewarding and exhilarating that we are complete sell outs for the love of a horse.
Future Goals
We have several young foals for sale now. Our two year old filly, Thee Kajaree, went top ten at the 2006 Egyptian Event and we are expecting great things from our weanling colt by Insignia Desha, SH Raqui.
Each newborn is so very different from the last and so very precious....we want to remain a small farm in order to enjoy every new baby...the imprinting...the hands on from birth, to sending them off for training. . . and the reward of breeding future champions.
